I guess I should probably post something, seeing as how I haven't in... um... several months by now.  And I actually do have a computer with internet access in my room of my very own now.  With a real monitor, so I can read what I'm typing and be able to play Neverwinter and Diablo and all that.  Yay.

Um. Not sure exactly what I should be posting, besides that I think I might actually have a major soon (as long as I can convince some people).  Should that major work out, and my other classes as well, I might even end up with a double minor (again, convincing is needed).  Why is it that all the good majors and minors (well, good from my point of view) just haven't been created yet here?  The things I want to do will be majors... in about 3 to 5 years, probably.  Maybe less in some cases, maybe more in others.  Still.  It sounds like I will be able to talk people into letting me be a "pilot program" type student for these programs. I think.  Not sure, still have some appointments to make.

Next semester's schedule seems like it's going to be pretty much awesome.  I somewhat wish that I could change my two MWF classes to MW classes so I completely have Friday off, but getting out by/before noon is still pretty good, I think.  Especially since I didn't have to take any night classes or 8 AM classes to accomplish this. Yayrah.

Um.  Been doing some experimental cooking lately (yay for living at home so I don't have to buy all the ingredients, just the weird ones, and even then, not always those...).  I think all of them turned out pretty well.  It seems I could probably open a restaurant based on my brownies alone (doing a speech on them somehow required me to make 4 batches of them, split into half-batches and The Dreaded Boring Box Mix as comparison.  Pretty much got a standing ovation from my speech class. ).  Adding on the concoctioned cider and hot chocolate would just make it even better. Yay. So now I know that if I can't find a decent major or end up with a major that doesn't produce employment, I can find a way to get some capital *mooch mooch* and open up a brownie restaurant.  It works in Japan...

Besides that, nothing much going on.  Taking Japanese is fun, the chemistry teacher is convinced I'm good enough at that blasted subject to be a lab assistant (whatever...appreciative of the compliment but NOT taking up that offer, thanks), doing tolerably well in my other classes... The only problems right now are a)lack of job and b)not enough time for gaming.  Phooey on Chris for turning me into a gamer, especially since I don't have the system to play several of the games he got me hooked on (not much longer until Christmas, not much longer until Christmas, not much longer until Christmas...).

So, yeah. Might end up getting back on here and posting more often (especially since my Lit class is getting reeealllly boring/annoying)...

Remember to eat more brownies and drink more hot chocolate!

So.  Not having a computer-with-internet-access of my own means that I don't post on Xanga, apparently.  Yerfk. Hadn't even noticed that I haven't posted anything since I was still in MD.  Eep.  So, now to fix that.

Life in general... hmm.  Living in the same house with my parents, sibling, and dogs is very... interesting.  Especially when I'm the only human home and have to look after the dogs all day.  Not very fun.

Work is going.  Rather too much at times, without enough breaks, but it's going.  Making more than minimum wage is a nice change; having to wear a trucker's hat AND a nametag and tie is not.  Bleah.  Still think they need to pick between the tie and the hat. I can live with wearing one or the other, but not both at the same time.  That's just silly.

So. Yeah. This was funny enough that I decided to post it... not sure if it'll still be funny in the morning after I've had sleep, but it is right now.

Boyfriend: You really don't give your hair enough credit.
Me: No, then it'd go into debt.  I usually keep it to debit or cash.

... Too much hyperness today.

So.  Now mostly have Linux installed on the computer... Yayrah.

Now all I need are the music player and the games, some of whom seem like they're findable on
http://mandrake.cict.fr/devel/cooker/x86_64/media/main/

Now I just need to wait until I can get to my computer again in half an hour or so, so I can see if they work.
C'mon Tuxracer...

Okay, so that link didn't work.  Maybe this one will.

Finals week.  Yay.  Whoo.
Only a few more days until I'll see people again, and be back in the central time zone.  Wheeeee.

This is really weird... apparently when you type up a post on a Mac, it doesn't give you a cursor in the post window unless you click on it.  Strange.  Well, at least I don't have a delay.

Aaanyway... should probably start trying to study, since I have two finals tomorrow and am planning on trying to install Red Hat later.

Three more days!!!!!!
